Sustainable Development Agenda for Nepal
(SDAN)

The Government of Nepal implemented Sustainable Community Development Programme (SCDP) in 1996 as a workable objective proclaimed in the Earth Summit of 1992. Now, Nepal is preparing Sustainable Development Agenda for Nepal (SDAN). This National Agenda gives a twenty years vision of sustainable development of Nepal. The SDAN will be shared in the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) or RIO + 10 which is going to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa from 26 August to 4 September 2002.

The sectoral reports for the SDAN have been prepared through research and analysis on different sectors of the development by the subject expertise. Now the draft SDAN is on the process of finalisation. Once it is finalized it will be loaded in the same website.
